unagi don dinner at home

Its been a very japanese week. We have been cooking tempura udon, unagi don last night and up next is cha soba. All thanks to Anne and Laurain for their jappy dinner influences. Having a wife that can cook is heaven sent. YES! that picture was taken at home, not at a restaurant.

To top it all, we went to Daiso (jappy $2 shop at IMM) and we bought 71 items. I think we are crazy, but i also think we need to go back there again real soon.

Saw this beautiful chair at Tiong Bahru Plaza food court. Hopefully they come in white. If so then my house will finally have proper dining chairs.

Chloe 2nd B Day

It was Chloe’s 2nd Birtday today and as a family we all went out for a nice Crystal Jade dinner at Parkway Parade. Chloe (as usual) seemed very hungry and chowed down on plenty of food, while Clié was just hyper, running a round and screaming on top of her lungs.

Chloe performed her freezing powers over dinner like how its do in Charmed. “FREEZE!” she will say, then do a funny lizard kinda sound to unfrezze you. Ha Ha… that was a good laugh!

We then went home for cake. A nice strawberry cheesecake with accompanying Clié kiddy organ demo song “Happy Birthday” (which went on like forever).

Chloe had a little problem blowing out the candles, she kept making that “F” sound instead of blowing. She is very cute. Clié being very “kaypoh” then helped blow out one candle while Chloe blew out one herself.

at home

We are now really parents of 2. The whole day revolves around these 2 persons. From bathing them, to changing their nappies, from picking up their toys to participating in playing with them to recreate a mess. Okay, thats only Clié.

Today Clié had a bad bruise on her forehead. She was very excited, i forgot about what, then she turned her body so quickly and bumped into the corner of the wall. That followed by some persistent crying. “ZAM BUK” is her best friend, she always gets to have alot of it applied to her multitude of bruises regularly. And i thought i was active.
