Church Camp 2005

During the trip into Melaka, Clié had her first try at a Gameboy and she clearly don’t know what to do with it. Oh well… I tried a bit of the Super Mario Bros, very nostalgic…

Church camp is always good. Hang out with all the fun people and doing all the fun stuff and of cause all the good teachings. This time round there were several sermons i needed to hear and some of my thoughts were indeed challenged.

We had like Prata almost everynight and in a big group! First time having supper with many as in Singapore its so difficult to have supper with everyone, especially the younger ones.

Then one night it was Indian Poker where it involved drinking alot of water for those who lost. Justin just could not take it and had to go for a piss. lol… Then at the end of the game, Chong Ming, Daren, Olyna and a few others REALLY had to go! Then the second night it was Taboo with a drinking water punishment twist. For each correct word the team guessed, the opposite team had to drink a cup of water.

The first round our team of four (Daren, Chong Ming, Gabriel and me) got 7 words right, so the other team (Olyna, Dinah, Nicky, Benson and another young girl whom i don’t really know) had to share the 7 cups of water! When it was their turn, we only had to drink 3 cups, no prob… Our turn again next… 7 words again! they had a real hard time getting that down this time. lol… it was real fun.

On our way back to Singapore, it was coach ride and GBA again. Generally the trip was really good and i had alot of time with Clié and the church youth. I so look forward for the next camp.
