2001 Philips Xrage

Too bad the timing for the 2001 Philips Xrage clashes with my just-reach-singapore-and-need-to-do-stuff, hence i managed to only get to the final bits only. *sob* Anyway here are some pictures that i took at the closing of the event.

Skaters
from left to right
dunno, Zhong Li, Louis, Felix, Faz, Go Sports boss, familiar, familiar

Skaters
Prize giving part where everyone just sit back

SQ224

Day flights are so much better, cuz can get to see the landscape during take-off and landing. On the plane, i got a chance to catch AntiTrust. I would say its a real techy kinda film, cuz if you have a passion for Open Source software and believe that knowledge should be shared and not owned, you better go catch the film.

Reinstallation woes

I lost my address book, my icq contact list, all my precious e-mails, my work, all source files for web-design, all my school projects and assignments. *sob* its worst that i have expected….. But no point crying over crashed disk, life goes on.

Crashed

My exams just ended so did the life of my Hard Disk. There have been sounds of agony from my digital friend for the past few weeks, but i think i did not comprehend what it was trying to tell me. Now all the information on it is lost and the feeling is like a part of my life has been erased. Some of the most valuable information would be the digital pictures that can never be retaken, the e-mails that can never be re-recieved. *sob* i can only cry inside…..

EC203 Exam Tips

The Exam tips given by my EC203 lecturer.

EC203 – Final Exam Tips

Tip #1
Don’t panic. – Panic causes noise and may disturb other students. Invigilators have also complained about stress caused by hysterical students.

If you must panic, please do so quietly.

Tip #2 Bring a spare pen or pencil. – If using a pencil, make sure you bring a pencil sharpener.

Don’t get caught by a broken pencil, and not having a pencil sharpener available. This has caused students to panic, thus disturbing others (see Tip #1).

Tip #3 – Think happy thoughts.

Positive thinking may not improve your exam result, but it does help you stay in control, thus avoiding embarrassment in front of your peers.

This has gotta be my fave unit for the semester.
