I wanted to backup my photo files into a CD, but the CD Writer is on another computer, so i had to first transfer the pictures. During that “establishing” period, mysteriously my F: which i store my files and my G: which i store my games went MISSING! I’m glad my D: which i store my data is still there, but still MY PHOTOTO TO TO TO TOOS!!!

Now i’m researching about lost partitions, recovery tools, undelete utilities and other wierd stuff hoping to find a way to resurrect my photos which is in the F:. *sob* Just when i had time to do what i like, irritating stuff like dat happens… I seriously need some good IT support…

She is so adorable, Pearl and I just can’t get enough of her.

Our new addition cliépan arrived in the evening of 12 Dec 2002 and weighs 2.9kg.

A huge thank you to all that have sms-ed, email-ed, commented on the blog, icq-ed, irc-ed, called, visited and prayed. Pearl and I are very grateful to have a group of friends like all of you that had given us the kind of love for the pass several months. I’ll be adding more updates soon, now Pearl and I are busy playing with her… ;D

I’ll be taking a short break away from everything and will be spending the next 3 days and 2 nights with Pearl at the hospital. Will post pictures when i get back. ;D

I think most of us are familiar with the term “Fire Fighting” and I think I can safely say businesses with old ways of doing things have a lot of inefficiencies in them and its not surprising that things are done in a clearly silly way. The fight against fire fighting has been in my work place for quite a while now and its unavoidable.

The strategy I’m adopting is first not to get burnt while at the same time not letting the fire spread. Our men are in there fire-fighting and we want to save them out from there, but if I can’t protect myself how can I then save others? So I think its better to lose some fire-fighters and let some of the place burn then to let the fire spread or even sending more fire-fighters into the fire. And I’ll never count on a rain.

Nick you’re cold an inconsiderate. No i’m just looking at the bigger picture.
