This year’s Christmas instead of having it at my Parent’s, we invited everyone over. As you can see everyone got the kids presents and they really stacked up like a mountain.

This year’s is quite different with previous years. The family vibes is very different… everyone seems relaxed, everyones older… i feel i want to love everyone more… :) and i do…
We decided to open up our house for this year’s christmas party for the Young Adults in our church. It was mainly Pearl’s idea as i was just too busy at work to plan for anything.
As you can see, she really enjoyed making the turkey.
The outcome was beautiful… very Christmasy…
About 30 people came and there was alot of chatter, alot of bonding, alot of life sharing and definitely alot of dart throwing.
We had a gift exchange and you can clearly see someone in the group was an avid eBay–er.

After legally married for 1 year, my brother and his wife finally had their wedding. The wedding photos were really nice and it felt heart warming to just see my brother dressed up, focused and making a big step in life.
Slept super late the previous night doing up a slide show for the wedding dinner, then with only 2.5hrs of sleep i was in my brother’s entourage driving from Punggol, to Katong, to Clementi, back to Katong, back to Clementi, back to Katong. I’m know to sleep while driving and i’m glad i had Louis to keep me awake all the way.
With a bit of rest, changed and headed for Sheraton to help setup stuff for my bro. I also happen to be the MC, so had to rehearse abit.
My wife and kids, came slightly later and the girls all became flower girls. Nice and Sweet.
Too bad i was on stage while they were doing their flower girls thingy, else i’ll definitely post pictures of them here. And the rest of the night, Cleo slept thru the dinner and Clié ran around.
Really liked the evening… next year i’ll be married for 10 years with Pearl… maybe i should do something special.
I finally got a new pair of skates. This is Razors Jon Elliot 3 model and i got it from Go Sports. Enjoy the eye candy.
Its been a few years since i last skated and that feeling have not gone away. The focus on landing the next trick, the urge to go and skate, the can do attitude that says you can overcome.

My brother also skated with me at that time and it was the best time we spent with each other. At some point we even built our own grind box at home.
The aggressive inline skate scene in Singapore have stagnated and the people whom i used to skate with have all grown up. Some are working, i believe some are married, not sure if any have kids already or not. I’m working, i’m married and i’ve got 2 kids and i think i can get back into it. At least i’ll try.
Maybe its also timely for me to revitalise Urbanplayground.
Seeing the old school people coming back into skating in the international scene, i think its time for revival in Singapore. See the Barely Dead Trailer below and you’ll see what i mean.

What a wonderful birthday present from my wife. :)
BBQs become different when you have good friends, good food, good beer, and good friends. This will be a BBQ to remember.
It was my birthday a few days ago and i took the day off from work, but somehow, that day was just filled with errands. At the end of that day, i really felt i’m getting old and that birthdays are a thing of the past. No biggie, no worries. The only thing that bugged me was the night before i met my wife outside to have a peaceful dinner without the kids, but who knows she was busy SMSing the whole night. I basically had dinner myself, had ice cream myself and went out with myself. Oh and the dinner was suppose to be my wife’s way of celebrating my birthday.
Then on Saturday evening, i had a surprise BBQ arranged by wife and a few close friends. I had no idea.
The evening was perfect. My parents, grandma & siblings came, my cousins came, my close friends came as well. All the people that mattered to me in my life was there. It was nice, really nice. After the BBQ, we went upstairs and even managed to see a DVD with my cousins.
Best evening of 2007 i have to say. All thanks to my wife. *smuck* :)
