Knocked Up by the Jetta

Knocked Up

Pearl and I caught Knocked Up on friday and it was actually quite nice. Having heard a fairly good review on CNA’s morning show, hence the decision to see it.

The cast was decent and as parents, we could relate to many of the stresful situations. The girl was beautiful and the guy was responsible, not sure how many guys would do what he did in the show.

Midway thru, I somehow can’t help but think the script was written by a woman as there were many parts where the guy was so nice that it feels like he is what girls would want their guys to behave.

The girl drove a very nice red car and after some research i found out it was the Volkswagen Jetta, after searching a bit more i would have to say the white ones are even nicer.

Read a review on Oneshift about it and its apparently quite a good affordable yet sporty and elegant car that was recently launched in Singapore. Cool, but too bad its not time for me to change my car, else I think i might just get it.

Hooper Rd

Cleo on a red stair

Every Saturday is a challenge, we all ask ourselves, where are we going? Its family day and we don’t know what to do. This week Pearl wanted to to go buy some cupcake stuff, so we ended up going to Hooper Rd. Its a nice little cozy corner of Singapore and its simply charming.

There is this nice red spiral stair just outside the shop and i had to ask my girls to model and take some pictures there.

Beautiful smile

What a beautiful smile. Clié and Cleo is always happy when we go out. Its like they are stuck at home for the whole week and the weekend is the only time they can spend quality time with us.

Everyone loves greenery

We found this nice little path and i really miss my younger years where we had a garden. We could dig, run around, smell the grass and soil, its just all concrete now and both my girls find soil icky. *sigh*

Cleo loves the swing

Both of them love the swing as well. Although its slightly dangerous, but its totally different from all other stuff in playgrounds. So yes, Hooper Rd’s playground do have 2 swings and they are for kids.

If you want to play a big adult swing, go to Pasir Ris park, they got mega ones there.

It was a nice day.

Will i ever own such property?

My Mom’s Sister-in-law’s side

Went to a distant relative’s place recently at upper east coast road and boy was his house big. There was even a lift to bring you up to the 4th floor. We took a group photo in the master toilet as my family loves toilets.

Ceramica Globo Washbasin with Zucchetti Pan faucet

The basin is from Ceramica Golobo and they had two of it side by side. The faucet was from the Zucchetti Pan series which is currently my favorite faucet line.

Bathtub

The bathroom had a huge tub as well and it was fitted with more Zucchetti fittings.

After seeing such a large house, i wonder will i ever own such a property. I would love to provide this kind of luxury to my wife, but i’m not sure if i would want to spend money this way?

Drew looks at me, I fake a smile so he won’t see
