This is my first picture from the Canon 450D. Pearl took it while i was in the queue of Terminal 2’s Swenson.

As you can see i’m very focused here in this picture as i’m always like that when i’m concentrating… Working a skateboarding game in my daughter’s pink NDSL. woot! DS rocks!

Got my wife a real expensive Christmas present this year. Its the Canon 450D DSLR camera.

In some way, it sounds more like a present for myself, but honestly thats not true. She have been looking at DSLR cameras when ever we pass by a camera counter. She have also been asking me which is better. So i went to do my homework and asked a few friends who own DSLR for advise and settled with the 450D. One of the reason is also she used to have an EOS 1000F (yes those that uses film) another reason is also she is used to Canon’s user interface.

I honestly prefer the normal point and shoot cameras that you can fit in your pocket, but for DSLRs its so huge it needs its own bag.

Anyway, i hope she will like it.

Pleasing Everyone

Can we truly please everyone? The simple answer is no. So the next question would be… so who should we please? or… should we even bother to please anyone?

I believe that there are people in our lives that matter and there are others who we might not need to worry about so much. The key is to know who they are and what to do to them.

Company Christmas Dinner 2008

This year our company dinner had a huge turn out. It was at Seven on Club and it was just fantastic. The food was great, the drinks were good, but it was the crazy hardworking colleagues from the company that made the whole night just spectacular.

The Staff Of The Year was announced and that colleague gave an impromptu speech. She did not say much, but alot can be felt.

After the dinner, we went to some LAME pub. It was super lame. So lame that i’ll never go back there again.

2008 have been a nice year in the office. Lots of nice colleageus, lots of work, lots of pain, lots of fun.

Till next year…

Clié’s 6th Birthday Party

Time passes so quickly, Clié is now 6. Next month, she will be in Primary 1 already. OMG, time really flew by quickly.

At 6 years old, Clié can articulate herself very well. She loves engaging people in conversation at times, she comes off like a little journalist who describes things in detail to her listener. With her cheerfulness and social boldness, she is confident about herself and can talk to almost anyone.

This year’s theme is very princessy and as you can see Clié’s favorite princess is Princess Aurora. Aurora is Sleeping Beauty and apparently not many people know that. I learnt that from Clié too.

Did up a bit of a sidewalk decor. This time made the words real big.

There was another princess in the house too and it was snow white. Cleo really love this outfit. I think it looks really *cough* weird *cough* but then again seeing my cute daughter in it is indeed really very cute-sy.

Happy Birthday Clié, daddy loves you plenty plenty.
