EC203 Exam Tips

The Exam tips given by my EC203 lecturer.

EC203 – Final Exam Tips

Tip #1
Don’t panic. – Panic causes noise and may disturb other students. Invigilators have also complained about stress caused by hysterical students.

If you must panic, please do so quietly.

Tip #2 Bring a spare pen or pencil. – If using a pencil, make sure you bring a pencil sharpener.

Don’t get caught by a broken pencil, and not having a pencil sharpener available. This has caused students to panic, thus disturbing others (see Tip #1).

Tip #3 – Think happy thoughts.

Positive thinking may not improve your exam result, but it does help you stay in control, thus avoiding embarrassment in front of your peers.

This has gotta be my fave unit for the semester.

David & Louis coming to Perth

My brothers David & Louis will be coming to Perth tonight. YEAH! Although its everyones’ exam week and we would not have time for them, but my exams end this friday. Double YEAH!! YEAH!! next week is Perth Adventure week, i am soooo looking forward to that.

Exam-Hibernation Week

Its exam-hibernation week and the house have switched to a weird academic intensive mode, but more wierdly is that my time is totally different from the rest in my house. Everyone sleeps at about 6am and their day starts only after 2pm, but for me i am sticking to the lights-off at 10pm and 6am reveille. Its really wierd, cuz it used to be the other way around. But anyway, i think its all good, cuz i can get the hearty breakfast i make for myself.

Quotes from Albert Einstein

“Before God we are all equally wise – and equally foolish.”

“At any rate, I am convinced that He [God] does not play dice.”

“Imagination is more important than knowledge.”

“My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind.”

“Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I’m not sure about the former.”

“Reading, after a certain age, diverts the mind too much from its creative pursuits. Any man who reads too much and uses his own brain too little falls into lazy habits of thinking.”

“The important thing is not to stop questioning.”

“The most incomprehensible thing about the world is that it is comprehensible.”

“We should take care not to make the intellect our god; it has, of course, powerful muscles, but no personality.”

“Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.”

“Everything that is really great and inspiring is created by the individual who can labor in freedom.”

Dragon Husband and Tiger Wife

I am not superstitious and don’t believe in horoscopes, but some of then are quite funny and at times quite spot on.

Dragon Husband and Tiger Wife – Not a quiet, conventional and uneventful marriage at all. Both partners are progressive, pioneering and active. They could provide each other stimulating company if they understand their basic individual need for freedom and expression. The Tiger wife may respect and adore her Dragon spouse but will never give her own identity. He will be in trouble if he tries to give her obedience training. Both are quick-tempered and will resist being dominated. An adventurous marriage if they can maintain a workable balance.
