Can-Soup Pasta

I don’t proclaim to be able to cook, but I make do. Here is a dinner I prepared yesterday. I call it “Can-Soup Pasta”. Here is the Ingredients & Directions I came out with for a serving of 4.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Mushroom Can-Soup
  • 4 Cups of Pasta (cups you use to measure rice)
  • 4 Chicken Breasts
  • ½ an Onion (i had half an onion left)
  • Dash of Flour (optional)
  • Water
  • Apron
  • Humour
  • People who are willing to eat your food

Directions:

  1. Boil water in a Pot big enough for the Pasta
  2. Cut Chicken Breasts into chunky slices
  3. Cut the Onion into wedges
  4. Dump pasta into Pot of boiling water for about 10mins
  5. Dump the 2 Can-Soup into another Pot & Dump 1 Can of water, boil with constant stirring
  6. Stir-fry Chicken Breasts with a bit of oil till you think its edible then throw Onions in
  7. When the Chicken Breasts are done, throw them into the Soup
  8. If too soupy, mix some flour with water and throw it in
  9. Serve Pasta on plate and pour the sauce over it
  10. Tell the people who are willing to eat your food that dinner is ready

More or less this is the formula, but you can always substitute the flavour of the Can-Soup, the meat and the pasta you like or even rice. This dinner idea is dedicated to all those who know nuts about cooking and have some Can-Soup in the dark forgotten corner.

CNL Online Library back-end

Finally managed to add a back-end database for my Church‘s Library, you can click here to have a look at it. Just login as “guest” with the password “guest”, you would be able to see all the books there.

[email protected]

I am setting up an online commuity for [email protected], but the problem with tools like that on the web is that there is a “can’t-do-without” need for content moderators who will spice things up and get the thing actually going. Too many times i have seen communities just taking its natural death, because no one is there to make sure its alive and that people are acutually coming back.

Sweet November

SweetNovember.net

Sweet November is indeed a very sweet movie. Although I always thought Keanu Reeves can’t act very well, but in this show he was able to make me feel how it was like to be in his shoes when he was let in on the 1 month deal. He played Nelson Moss who is a workaholic art director of an advertising agency whose only intimate relationship is with the bottom line.

The lovely Charlize Theron who plays Sara Deever has a spunky character and she changed Nelson’s life forever in a month. To tell you more would be giving the story away. Go see it, I loved it.

Also do check out the movie’s extremly nice website.
