Pearl is in the hair salon and i am in the school computer lab, thats because the hair salon is on the campus itself. I think all hair salons should upgrade their client-companion-entertainment-while-waiting-material from trashy magazines to internet access. If Pearl is gonna do her hair for the whole day, then i would not mind “waiting”. Its just like having nice couches in boutiques, they are actually for the more masculine gender which can’t bear the agony of standing while his female conterpart gets seduced by merchandise.
Nelly Furtado
Nelly Furtado’s “I’m like a bird” is quite good, try to get the single if you can. Then lend me. hee…
coffee
I always thought coffee had no effect on me, cuz there were times when I drank it before going to bed and I still managed to dive into my pseudo-reality. But of late, because of the mid-semester tests and assignments, I had no choice but to drink lots of it hoping that it will keep me sufficiently alert. Amazingly it kept me up for long hours and even when I went to bed, it’s a struggle to actually get to sleep. Now, the white in my eyes (“sclera” for the biologically challenged) has turned dark and I look like some undead from a B-grade movie. I think I will stick to milk from now on.
referencing
Don’t you just hate writing essays in uni, the research bit is fun, cuz you get to find stuff and immediately absorb it into the abyss of that gray matter in your skull. Deadlines are the most dreaded as we are all procrastinators and the worst part is referencing, the requirement to avoid plagiarism in my uni is Harvard Referencing. It’s sometimes known as the “sacred cow” of the campus.
bye bye eCircles
For users of eCircles.com, you might want to know that they have put up this notice on their site.
I regret to inform you that the eCircles.com web site will permanently shut down on April 15, 2001 and will no longer be available thereafter. The market downturn of the last 12 months made it increasingly difficult to cover the costs of operating the eCircles site.
If there is data in your circles that you wish to keep, please log on to retrieve it before April 15th. I’ve included instructions below.
We truly appreciate your patronage over the last several years and we hope you’ll continue to find ways to stay connected with your friends and families.
Sincerely,

eCircles.com
I personally am in 5 eCircles.com, so its quite sad, that such a good service has to fold. Also PhotoPoint.com will start charging in May 2001. I really think such free services should be kept free if they wanted to offered it free in the first place.
Enough rantings… I really want to commend these sites for the good they have brought the the internet users at large and that its such a pity that they have to go. eCircles.com will always have a place in my heart.
