Web Layouts

One of the strange hobbies i have is drawing web layouts. Its really therapeutic for web designers, there is no client to please, no constraints, absolutely no rules, if i don’t like the first one, i’ll just draw another… and another…

The layout of a website is not as simple as a print layout, as web designers not only need to think about the information architecture, they also need to worry about visitors using different browsers, different devices and different screen resolution to access the site. It can get quite irritating at times. Websites are meant to be fluid, meaning the browser is but a container and the site’s content should fill this container. Vivabit is one heck of a good example.

Kudos to nick. No only is your site Windos-friendly, it’s also linux friendly. I’m on Mozilla (the old version) and running on Redhat Linux. Looks very very cool.
