Web Layouts

Web Layouts

One of the strange hobbies i have is drawing web layouts. Its really therapeutic for web designers, there is no client to please, no constraints, absolutely no rules, if i don’t like the first one, i’ll just draw another… and another…

The layout of a website is not as simple as a print layout, as web designers not only need to think about the information architecture, they also need to worry about visitors using different browsers, different devices and different screen resolution to access the site. It can get quite irritating at times. Websites are meant to be fluid, meaning the browser is but a container and the site’s content should fill this container. Vivabit is one heck of a good example.

  1. Kudos to nick. No only is your site Windos-friendly, it’s also linux friendly. I’m on Mozilla (the old version) and running on Redhat Linux. Looks very very cool.

  2. My spouse and i ended up being very more than happy Albert managed to finish off his basic research through your ideas he had in your web pages. It’s not at all simplistic to just find yourself giving away tips and hints people today might have been making money from. And we also figure out we need the writer to be grateful to because of that. The specific explanations you made, the simple web site menu, the relationships your site make it easier to create – it’s got everything awesome, and it is helping our son in addition to us understand that concept is awesome, and that is rather serious. Thank you for all!
