Sophie Graber

Congratulations to Mark and De on the arrival of their baby girl Sophie Graber. How i wish i can be back in Perth for a few days to spend this happy moment with them.

I clearly remember we were just discussing about being parents together and suprisingly when i told him my wife Pearl was 6 weeks pregnant, he counter-suprised me that his wife was 9 weeks pregnant. We were really having a good laugh at his place several months ago. Now Sophie is out Clié will be out soon too. We are looking at about 10 – 15 December… hmm… lets see when she wants to come out.

Pearl and I are now officially living at Davis’s and Sharon’s place in the west as they kindy opened their house for us to stay for the next few months as Pearl will be delivering soon and will be doing her confinement there. I would think its like north-west cum central kinda place, cuz its Bukit Panjang. It feels strange to be out of Katong where my roots are, cuz all my life near have always meant Katong or East Coast. Orchard and City Hall takes a bit of effort to get to and Bukit Panjang have always felt like Malaysia or somewhere really far.

Hmm… now i’m in the west, i’m near people like nix, sylvy, Rey, Dezzo and not to mention the closest cm. I really look forward in hanging out with them more.

Well… going to work now is kind of a travel *sigh*… nvm… you win some you lose some. I’m happy to be in the west for now…

“And dark may be the night around
With dark shadows with darker sounds
And yet my ears and all my nerves
Stayed awake through those darker hours.
Memories of strange and memories of known
Keep me occupied when alone
Cause memories are there for me to keep
With each of my lonely heart in beat.” ~ (Tito)

The 13 year old boy who wrote this is severly autistic and a real inspiration to me. I believe individuals with conditions such as autism are not any lower that anyone of us apparently normal people. The world is different through everyone’s eyes and its this difference that makes the world an interesting place. How i wish i can be autistic for a few days.
