Dangling

I’m not here nor there, although being back in Singapore is a very good thing, but the transition period from school life to work life is kinda unsettling.

With many strange commitments and many loose ends to tie up with many ad-hoc yet important strange activities to attend to, I find time is slipping through my fingers. All I know now is I need to work and start providing for my pregnant wife and that is my first priority, any other thing would have to wait.

I’ve applied to several jobs already & hopefully next week I might be able to go for some interviews. Many of my friends know that I might be setting up a company, but I think I can’t really take this risk now. My kid is coming end of the year, so being practical might be the best way to go for now.

I’ve not been surfing the net much and have not been creating any sites lately, darn that really sucks.

Hi Baby

Pearl Preggy Scan

This would be the first official picture of our baby and yes i think an ultrasound is a photo. This is so very cool. Do say hi to our baby.

I want broadband

*sob* i seriously want to get broadband, but i’m living on a landed property… *sob* i think i’m destined to be a 56ker… According to the the broadband company just to lay the cable from the road into my house might cost up to $5,000 is that bad news or is that horrible news for this poor unemployed web citizen.

settling woes

After installing Win2K i had problems getting my internal modem working properly. 2 Days of troubleshootin lead me no where, till my brother sugested the obvious that since i’m no longer on win98, i probably should get a win2k driver for the modem.

*slaps forehead*

okay now i’m back online, but i can’t get my FTP working properly!!! darn whats happening? i think i’m no longer a techy guy. Anyway the saddest bit is my THPS3 can’t run! damn!

monitorless

Before leaving Perth, i sold my 17 inch CRT monitor in hopes of upgrading to a LCD or a flat screen CRT monitor, but after a brief market survey, i think i’ve narrowed my options down to a 17 inch flatscreen CRT maybe a Sony or a Sumsung. hmm… more research is needed before i’m back online at home.
