This is the most difficult person in my house… and i love her so so much.
I’ve come to understand that we can’t go against her, we can’t disagree with her, we can’t make her do things that she does not want to do, eat things that she does not want to eat. Its difficult.
What a character… Just like me. :)
I badly needed some time out with my family and i was glad at the last minute Pearl managed to get her leave approved as well for the long weekend. We had absolutely no idea what to do on thursday, all we knew was… lets get up early and go out for breakfast. Prata and Jln Kayu we went.
My girls are quite okay with prata and the standard drink we always have teh-o-peng. I hope that when they grow up, they too know how to enjoy the prata culture that i love so much.
My Clié is so much like me i can’t believe it. Her mannerism, her eyes, her nose, her character. Its just amazing to watch her grow up. One day, she will know it was her dad that made her like teh-o-peng.
My Cleo is always so cheeky, I think now this winking thingy is her signature pose already. Also who says goggles is not an accessory to bring for prata.
It was an unplanned day with the family and it was sweet. Thank God for a simple life.
Its a family day to the Zoo today and i’ve been looking forward to it for some time already.
This time we were clever, we did not rent the trolley thingy… we just made do with our sturdy pram. Both Clié and Cleo managed to sit comfortably in it. I think in a years time, this might not be possible already.
My Clié loves using the digital camera and enjoys taking pictures. Maybe its a gadget thing, maybe its a i-can-control-this-device thing, maybe she just wanna do what i do. Ok, so a silly picture for all to see. :)
We were in time for the elephant show and Cleo was just glued to the performance. Clié however just wanted to take pictures of the elephants and was afraid when they came close to spray water at us thru their trunks. lol…
And i’m glad i brought my best friend along too… my wife, my love…
Thank God for this beautiful soul. Our helper is such a wonderful person and also an amazing help in our family. She not only keeps our house clean and tidy, she is more importantly the one that takes care of our kids when we are busy. She loves our kids and our kids love her too.
Recently it was her birthday and she wanted to buy us a nice dinner. She asked us if $100 would be enough for her to buy us a dinner at Fish & Co… we were speechless… $100 is alot of money as compared to what she was earning and she still wanted to use the money this way.
She is about the same age as us, but being from a different country with different economy and political environment, we are her employers. Its just strange how this world works. In God’s eyes we are all the same.
We brought the kids to Disney on Ice – Finding Nemo. Other then it being expensive, the experience was quite interesting.
The show totally captivated our kids and they were trying to see what was happening. If you saw the movie, you will be able to tell that the whole performance is the same as the movie, but just with people with ice skates on trying to be like fishes.
The costumes were way cool and the set and props are really awesome. Would i recommend anyone to go see it? nope. But just for the kids, then maybe.
