The world with its hustle and bustle passes before our eyes daily and for a moment we envy those with an iPod when those trendy white headphone cables stare at you with temptation on public transport. Traveling to work alone the mind wonders, the eye wonders and we can’t help but wonder… Is financial freedom a fantasy? What can we do to be rich? Will we ever enjoy work? Do we even matter? Is there even an answer?

*sigh*

Solitude, we feel like as if we are the only one in the world. What about ME? What about MY life? What about MY aspirations? When will things go MY way? Will there ever be an answer to such self-centered queries? Is it so wrong to be just slightly self-centered when there is rape and murder going on in our society?

Don’t give me a philosophy, don’t tell me about our society, don’t tell me about hormones, you are not the one feeling it, YOU are IRRELEVANT.

There is a void.

There is a void that needs to be filled.

There is a void that needs to be filled by a superior force and maybe God is the answer… maybe God is an illusion… maybe God is a form of denial… maybe God is calling… maybe God is the only answer… maybe the world is an illusion… maybe the world is a form of denial… and if God is the answer, then maybe God will do something about me… maybe this Christmas? Maybe there is more than just solitude…

Went for the Dialogue with Chi Wing Lo on ” East & West – An Ambivalent Exactitude” organised by NAFA. He mentioned in his school days, he was indulgent in designing and he sets no limitation for himself while designing not to please anyone but himself. With this freedom, he was able to create unique objects.

Just submitted a job today. It was a CD Sleeve and CD Face design job for W!LDRICE. I’m not the main designer, but it was a good chance that i could for the first time design a CD face.

I went to CINDEREL-LAH! with Pearl last year and it was excellent, i strongly recommend it. That time we did not know we would have Cleo, but this year for Aladdin we will be bringing Clié. Its gonna be fun. If you wanna go, tickets are available through

It was yet another sudden impulse to make jappy food again. This time the combine forces of Pearl and Anne came up with chawanmushi, cha soba and lots of tempura.

Be envious, be very envious.

Went to Tiong Bahru with Jon and Anne, Kelvin and Laurain on monday which was Hari Raya. Of cause all our kids came along. It was a real big somewhat “family outing” kinda thingy. haha… The original plan was to go to Ikea, but after seeing about 40 cars waiting to get into the carpark, we reckon the crowd in there would be crazy, so change of plans and to Tiong Bahru Plaza we went.
