Flowers

Lily

We went for brunch at PS.Cafe today and its one of the nicest way to start a no-plan type Saturday.

But why is PS.Cafe so nice? I seriously think its not just the decor, but the whole clanking of ceramics in the foreground with chattering of relaxed people in the background, the non standard chairs and cups, the beautifully served food. All these niceties out weighs the little paper that you stare at while walking back to your car while you leave.

Seriously i do like my under $2 breakfast at Maxwell market too. lol…

Ok, the flowers are simply cool. I know my wife likes big flowers, hence i suggested to drop by the Thomson area to go grab some flowers.

Flowers transforms the bathroom

We got white lilys and pom poms. My wife did a simple yet beautiful arrangement when we got home and it simply transformed our whole bathroom. Its beautiful. Yes, guys can think flowers are beautiful too. A happy wife is a happy life.

Kids bathroom with flowers too

The kids bathroom had pom poms too. So super cute. Oh we had diffusers for sometime already as well. They make the whole bathroom smell great.

I think flowers might slowly become a permanant feature in our home.

Busy Hands

LOL!!! The sound effects just make me laugh.

Now I got an appropriate video to show my kids why they should not be leaning on lift walls. They should so show this in every school.

No Can Do Condo

Clié loves the pool

The kids always wanted a home with a pool downstairs. They simply love just playing in the water. We bring them to Sentosa sometimes, we also go to Chinese Swimming Club, sometimes to our friends condo, the newest being Sengkang Swimming Complex, however nothing beats having a pool in your own residential compound.

Quartz condo was the best location for us currently and its literally just beside Buangkok MRT.

Claire Wong was our housing agent and she helped us to get our 5 room flat evaluated and even made appointment with potential buyers to view our house. She does things very fast and very professionally. One of the couples who came to the house apparently do read our kids blogs lol… It was quite a suprise.

Claire was also super helpful in bringing us to the condo for viewing.

While we were going thru the details of the sale of our flat and purchase of the new condo, the girls had fun in the super shallow kids play pool. They walked around and promised not to get wet. But guess what, we did bring along an extra set of clothes and they had to change before they got into the car.

Quartz @ Buangkok

Claire helped us do the maths and explained to us the risks involved which we deeply appreciate. But eventually we decided not to do it. Abit “pai-seh” also as Claire really did alot for us and was super honest and at the same time professional in her advise and comments.

If you need a housing agent, Calire Wong  8183 2288, claire_wong (at) hotmail dot com is the person to look for.

It seems like just yesterday that we moved into our current home in Punggol, but it does also feel like we stayed here all our life.

I think as parents we always want to provide more for our family, but yah… we first need to spend enough time with them first, the rest are all secondary.

Zoo April 09

Cleo at Singapore Zoo

Went to the Singapore Zoo with kids and this time the highlights was not animals, but the new water play area.

Clié at Singapore Zoo

Its a good sized place with places for parents to chill out under good shade, with KFC and Ben & Jerry’s just beside, its a good place to chill while the kids go hysterical and get baked in the wonderful tropical sun.

Cleo at Singapore Zoo

I could not catch up with Clié as she was running about and playing with her cousin, hence spent most of my time shooting Cleo.

Really wonder what is Cleo is thinking about as she goes about exploring. Maybe she is thinking why is daddy taking photos and not playing with her. hmm… only come to think of this while writing this post.

Cleo at Singapore Zoo

She saw mommy enjoying sort of a massage some time ago by letting falling water fall on the shoulders. Here the little lady imitates well and seems to be enjoying it.

Kite Flying Picnic

Its Saturday morning. We woke up early and prepared some sandwiches. Armed ourselves with kites and off we went to Lower Seletar Reservoir.

We laid out our picnic mat, took out the sandwiches and got the kites ready. Clié and Cleo were just too excited and with some help from daddy, their kites lifted off into the sky.

Cleo simple love her colourful rainbow-ish trainagle kite.

Look its there, high up in the sky.

She was a happy girl that day.

Clié had lots of fun too. She is good at coiling up her kite’s string and keeping things neat and tidy. She gets really worked up when her kite starts plumetting down. I can so imagine her at work next time. So passionate.

It started getting hot after some time and the kids had enough kite flying. We headed home.

After a shower and a simple lunch, everyone headed off to bed for a nap to enjoy the lazy saturday afternoon in their air-conditioned rooms. It was also perfect timing for me to clear some work.

I so look forward for saturdays like this. Quality family time, make my wife happy, make my kids happy, this makes me happy.
